You know, perhaps instead of banding together with Savoy Pictures, Fox bought the Burnham Broadcasting (WVUE/New Orleans, KHON/Honolulu, WALA/Mobile, WLUK/Green Bay, KBAK/Bakersfield) stations on its own
They wound up holding onto KHON, WALA, and KBAK just long enough to switch them to Fox then sell them off, but they would have held onto WVUE and WLUK (in the home markets of the New Orleans Saints and the Green Bay Packers respectively) all the way until 2007, when they sold them to Oak Hill/Local TV LLC.
