So what's this? Jane got bored and made an RPG again. This time I am deliberately writing with no larger plan of what's to happen. I think it's more fun that way. Plus it lets me hand the reigns over if I get bored!

How do I play? Fill out a character sheet (which I will post below when the main thread goes live). There's no upper limit on the amount of people who can play but I would like all submissions for anyone who plans to join off the bat by the end of the day.

What's the setting? Everythingpunk Fantasy of course.

Did you think this through at all? Oh, not even a little.

Here is your character sheet. You'll want to use the "Make a Copy" option in the File tab so you don't end up typing over the blank sheet.

Here's an example character sheet to give you an idea of what I expect. Your character doesn't have to be an ex-evil overlord of course.

Don't overthink things! Just be creative and have fun. You can draw on just about anything for inspiration when it comes to your character's species and crime (which are the two things you have to describe in some detail). Recommended sources of inspiration / blatant plagiarism include D&D sourcebooks, cartoons, other board games, comic books, cult media, and chessboards.

Your crime can be just about anything that would piss off the great powers (powerful governments, gods, etc.) of your home universe.

Your stats are pretty straightforward and I'll sometimes modify how characters react to you based on them. Once in a blue moon I'll throw a stat check your way.

Intelligence is your book-learnin', your life experience, and your common sense.

Strength is your heavy object liftablity, speed, and dexterity.

Guile is your charm, luck, and personableness.

Strikes are bad. Get three and you're out. Cash is money. Skills can again be anything but I reserve the right to limit them if they make things too "easy" for you.

biggest time commitment is gonna be filling out your character sheets which should take like ten minutes. After that it's play by post.

Not really.

It's better if you can somehow screencap your result but largely I don't have any reason to expect anyone to cheat on their dice rolls. It's not that sort of game anyway.

(just wanted to say that I'm enjoying reading this, even though it hasn't gotten very far. Didn't really want to commit to participating in another thing when it was getting started, but it's a good premise imo)

I have not forgotten about this but updates will be slow / nonexistent until Sunday evening or so, since I'm basically perpetually busy until then.
