Sophisticated/adult "cuisine" is barely worthy of the name

Squid and cuttlefish: Who thought eating rubber was a good idea?

Lobster: Enjoy making a giant mess at the table.  The flavor's all on the shell anyway.

Steak: It's thick and tough for no real reason and it smells better than it tastes.

Oyster: What even is this mess anyway?  And then people eat this raw?

Chocolate: The more hardcore you go, the more bitter it is, yet people like it that way.


  • Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
    Squid and cuttlefish is tasty rubber also it's not sophisticated at all, it's been a trash food for very long. The same can be said of lobster and oyster too.

    It's just all good food in general but luxury eating has turned low class dining into scarcities.
