I mostly remember finding it stupid-funny

    Heh.
  • Never heard of it.

Mostly because I grew up in the UK.

    And watched British TV shows.

    Funnily enough.
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
    I vaguely remember it

    Like vaguely

I'm pretty sure Nick has long buried it - I don't remember them ever trotting it back out the way they have their other shows of the era
  • My dreams exceed my real life
there was an episode where they went to mars or something
  • Splat Charger Specialist
If we're talking Doug, Disney bought that property from Nick. They ran it in the same block as Pepper Ann

No, it reverted from Nick to Jim Jinkins's company when Nick canceled the show. Disney bought Jinkins's company.

Also, Jinkins ended up being one of the exec producers on 101 Dalmatians: The Series, though it's unclear how much he had to do with it.

Also Pepper Ann is a fucking boss ass show
  • Splat Charger Specialist
Ah, I see. Figures you'd know a lot more of the details behind that than I would :P

I always assumed they bought it from Nick too

Anonus is an endless font of obscure media facts

I do hate how the Doug stuff played out, but the final episode of 101 did have Jim Jinkins appear as the leader of a cult, so

Also because I have nowhere else to say this, apparently: until Star vs. the Forces of Evil premiered, Pepper Ann was Disney Television Animation's only show created (at least given the sole credit as such) by a woman.

i don't find nickelodeon orange ugly, but i otherwise agree with this post
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
tbh I first thought of Scooter and Skeeter in Muppet Babies

    more my generation, you know.
  • I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
Nickelodeon used to run Muppet Babies on Nick Jr.

They have three Skeeters, and they have to share two of them with Disney
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
    too many fucking Skeeters
  • Munch munch, chomp chomp...
Skeeter eaters are the best Skeeters.
  • too many fucking Skeeters

    and they spread seeker tendencies

  • Sup bitches, witches, Haters, and trolls.
i had seen that but didn't remember anything about it.  supposedly the person who played skeeter coined the phrase "booty call" which is something i never thought about.  the phrase "booty call" being coined by someone, I mean
  • Sup bitches, witches, Haters, and trolls.
actually, no, i do remember one thing about it, which is that there's an episode where they go into space
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
I saw this at least once and promptly forgot about it because even as a wee child I could not bring myself to remotely care.

Honestly I remember being weirded out seeing the Tollin/Robbins Productions logo at the end of a show unrelated to All That
  • Interesting thing: my parents went to see Bill Bellamy's stand up show at our local comedy club in Raleigh and if I hadn't looked it up I would've never known that he was the titular character of this show

    contexts sure are weird things
