    That said, people in the '90s would flip if they knew Yahoo and AOL would someday be insert common ownership

    AT&T, Verizon, and CenturyLink own the old Bell System (CenturyLink gained Bell DNA when it bought out Qwest in 2011, who bought out US West in 2000)

    AT&T owns every piece of the Bell System aside from Bell Atlantic/NYNEX and US West, I think
