What's yours? You could be more specific and pick a dialect/accent if you want.

I'm fond of Standard American English. Besides that being what I speak natively (though depending on how much you want to nitpick it, it's the Pacific Northwest variety and has some differences from the Midwest variety that is closer to the standard) it is from what I've read the most widely used as a language for academia and as a lingua franca in international contexts. Notions of cultural value or beauty of a language aren't as important to me as a language's practicality, and considering the money and effort that goes into English language education in other countries in order to get a leg up in the world economy, I figure I'm kind of lucky. Of course, that isn't to say it wouldn't have been even better to be bilingual, but that's something I'll be working on.

I took Japanese lessons as a kid, and I always liked the way it sounded even though it turned out I am terrible at languages. Weirdly enough, the main thing I took away from studying it was a certain irritation with English pronouns.

I love English too, though. Even if I regularly mutilate it.

Esperanto. It has simple grammar rules.

The thing that sucks about Esperanto is that... Well there's more than one thing, but the main thing is that the position it's in is ill-equipped to serve the purpose it was designed for.
