The later iterations noticeably correct the first one's animation deficiencies though (later by not even that later - the New Movies shows improvement)

Oh, wait, I'm using the wrong browser for it! Apparently it only works in Safari. Which is mildly surreal, because I can't even directly access Vimeo on that version of Safari. ^~^;

it works in chrome when i allow 'unsafe scripts', which basically seems to mean anything not loaded over https
