    Because Trump is bffs with the CEO of Sharper Image.  That's seriously it.

    One of the results of Trump's Atlantic City stuff imploding was that he owed a shitload of money to some beef company.  Trump Steaks was basically a just-barely-legal laundering scheme to finish paying that off.  It failed spectacularly -- the steaks were overpriced by an order of magnitude and utter shit, and they sold almost nothing -- but in a way that gave Sharper Image a lot of exposure and patronage through sheer wtf value.
