Why is the idea of going to McDonald's so much more fun than actually going there?

I always feel like going there, then when I go there there's this awful auto-playing soundtrack that I hate and people that judge me for getting a cheeseburger and hot chocolate.

I just went there this afternoon for their new salmon sandwich. It was pretty nice.

I don't feel like any body judges me, but it is a McDonalds located right on a transit hub, so.

I don't really find the idea of going to McDonalds any more fun than going there.  I guess I just don't jive that well with an environment that destructive to people's innate humanity.

Oh and the food sucks too.

i am never excited to be eating at McDonald's, and never disappointed with the experience

however i'm eating there 5 days a week at present so it'd be kind of weird if i was excited for every time

The BK near our house is pretty good, actually.

the burger king by my college is horrifying but the once by sredni's place is 100%

Maybe it's just that I don't like Whoppers all that much? I used to get the double cheeseburger meal back when I was going to the one at Pantops in C'ville all the time, but that was also 25 years ago...
