going back and rereading the Deltora Quest books was so disappointing, they were my first ever fantasy series im pretty sure

Yeah definitely, but they've got a special place in my heart. Even if the books were eh, some of the monsters are still neat to me, like Ichabod, the Vraal, and the Wennbar.

I'm going to watch the anime eeeeeeventually, as I can be a sap sometimes.

Well they might not be as popular in the UK.
