scholar of the first sin is basically a director's cut type of rework with some changes to the graphics, an increase to the number of players that can participate in a multiplayer session at once, new NPC allies and invaders, reworked enemy and item placements (quite dramatically in places) and, most importantly, Scholar also includes all three of the (excellent) DLCs.
Is there a difference with OG and Scholar? Should I just buy scholar once I wanna get dark souls 2?
Scholar of the First Sin comes with all the Dark Souls 2DLC. It's basically the ultimate edition of Dark Souls 2, so if you're gonna get DS 2, get the Scholar of the first Sin edition.
The one true way to access the basin is beating Havel to death at SL10.
i used to do that all the time, just take the master key and chain backstab him to death, it's not actually that hard, just takes a little while. that ring is real good.
