One of the few pieces of KLK any fanfiction at all that I have read that is both well-written and compelling.
The basic premise ("what if Dr. Matoi had rescued both of his daughters, not just Ryuko?") is probably not unique, but the way it gets spun is very interesting.
I should forewarn that it's several shades darker than the main series, and there's a couple scenes of very graphic violence such as Nui getting her eye eaten by a rat.
Very much worth a read though. Even if the author sometimes goes overboard with foul language.
Smee, Maiman, Doktar, Pavelier, Button-Lee, Juan Ovyu
But now seriously, episode 25 was a great ending. It combined story closure with ridiculous fanservice the divas fighting their clones, the academy being a giant puppe)t. Too bad my computer is so shitty it lagged during the action heavy scenes
i just caught up with this thread, having avoided it before because it took me a long time to catch up with the show
Magic Jane, i was surprised by your response to the finale, but i feel like i can relate - it's strikingly similar to how i felt about the Madoka Magica finale, which i watched under similar circumstances, minus the level of fandom involvement because i don't really do that, so yeah yntkt
maybe not specifically the finale, although it was after the finale that you made the post i was referring to
you described the feeling of being deeply affected by a show and caring about its characters and the feeling of finally being excited about something and thinking that when you look back in future you'll remember it as one of the best things you watched, it reminded me of how i felt
