So the ongoing resurfacing project on E. Broad Street brought us this nice little goof-up:
Can you spot the mistake?
Spoiler:
The dashed line belongs on the inside of the center left-turn lane, not the outside!

I knew you'd like it! It's very intricate...and most of that stuff is original, too, not reproductions.
Not a photo, but something I wanted to ramble about without it getting lost on the main thread:
Back in the 1980s and 1990s (and well into the 2000s in a few cases), HDD makers used codenames for their designs, and Conner in particular had some rather odd ones (many of which were names of cities near Longmont, CO). MiniScribe did it, too, but their names were even weirder, and I get the feeling a lot of them were shout-outs to media or inside jokes, not just geographic references.
Case in point: Years ago, we had one of the original DiamondMax drives, an 85120 5 GB IDE. I took the board off of it, and the codename for that drive?
"GENESIS".
Biblical references aside (the DiamondMax was a complete redesign), I get the feeling someone at Longmont may have been a Star Trek fan. XD
While following I-70 across the country, I noticed something: The Missouri River's water at Kansas City must be really, really hard.
This is a shot of the KC Waterworks. The water is so blue because it's full of limestone; if you look at the floc mixers on the northeast ends of the settling tanks, they look like drywall mud!

There's an apartment complex not far from here that has a cemetery down inside it. It's built over what was once the tiny village of Hibernia, Ohio, so when modern suburbs came in, they built around the town's original cemetery.

I love that the parking lot is small enough to have just one single cart corral.

Aww...for some reason it's always sad to see a Kmart go, even though I've never liked the chain.

Yay US 40!
Elitch Gardens looks like fun, though I notice you didn't seem to take pictures of many rides besides the carousel and ferris wheel.
Also, I think what you read as "THANE" was supposed to be "11TH AVE"

Oh, ok.
Amusement park rides tend to be so big it's hard to photograph them anyway...
