In cases like those, it's usually the importers being greedy, rather than the parent company.

And in some of those cases, it may simply be cheaper to import.

Though honestly, I almost never buy physical cards. So that's not something I care about.

This isn't Pokemon, you can't collect them all.

Has anyone else noticed that all of the cards (by which I mean two or three) that depict Moai, it's stated they can fire lasers? Either depicted on the art or described in the flavortext.

That's because they're based upon the Gradius series, where they all do that.

Anyway, yeah, mostly ZeXal. There's most currently a Chaos deck that's pretty good.

Well, there are quite a few new archtypes.

Psychic, Divine Beast(made official), I think there was more... Nope, not yet. Although there is Creator God as well. It's... one card. :|

I know there's stuff like Union and Gemini(which are more like Subtypes like Ritual, Fusion, Synchro, and Xyz are.)

It just takes some stalling. Final Countdown is one of the EASIEST win conditions in the game, really.

Psychic is new.

Ritual was the first archtype. Along with alternate ones. But yeah. No, Gemini are normal monsters when summoned, but you have to normal summon again to make them effect monsters.

One of the Alien monsters is one of those. Hypno I think.

As for Final Countdown, in my experience it usually gets negated before anything can happen. I didn't even intend to win with it, but then I drew Labyrinth Wall and was like "whelp...."
