These are all "angels" from Neon Genesis Evangelion. These three are among the more bizarre ones.
I really, really appreciated how bizarre and otherworldly the angels were.
Shamshel is a strong, large monster that attacks with energy whips.
Ramiel is an octahedron that has an extremely long-range laser beam.
Gaghiel is a sea monster.
Israfel splits into two halves, both of which must be defeated simultaneously.
Sandalphon was an embryo when discovered, and resulted in a battle deep within a volcano.
Matarael looks like a four-legged opilionoid and drips corrosive liquid on things.
Sahaquiel is just very, very large. and orange.
Iruel is a computer virus.
Leliel is...its own shadow, and conceals an extradimensional space.
Bardiel makes things turn traitor.
Zeruel is the last of the more conventional strong, large monsters.
Arael is a glowing winged creature that enters human minds from outer space.
Armisael is a helical ring that causes rapid mutations.
Tabrias takes on human form.
This is what the protagonists were up against. Increasingly bizarre, otherworldly monsters. They had to fight these in order to delay the apocalypse.
