Oh, if 154 is the only Wire you've heard, Pink Flag and Chairs Missing should be your immediate priorities. Those first three albums are classics, each in a different way.
i feel kinda lame for not liking Wire more cuz they are Sredni's platonic ideal of guitar music (his words)
To a great extent, they're also kinda mine, but I know you mean nothing by it since you're not huge on guitar music in general. I think he understands, too.

Got Foobar going! My music library is finally on my new laptop. This calls for a massive backup...
Who needs track names when you have screenshots
Foobar's decidedly album-focused layout may force me to listen to whole albums at a time instead of just shuffling everything. Of course, it has a shuffle feature too, but I need to actually find that...

i just drag and drop the whole library/playlist and right click > sort > randomize
there might be a better way but if so i never looked for it
I find their best stuff is their collaborations/remixes (this being an exception, i guess). Like, I love Headcase's "Hallowe'en Mix" but the original isn't good.
I also love the atmosphere they sell because I've always been into gritty/industrial/etc. aesthetics (byproduct of being a western mecha fan since childhood iGuess) but often the lyrics are just. dumb. dumb dumb. (and then yeah, ye 90s synths)
It's the same with most music, really. Bad lyrics. which makes me prefer instrumental stuff.

I also have to second Meta there, BTW.
Public Image Ltd. - Track 8
Sigh - War (feat. David Tibet)
I love David Tibet's voice so much.
it sets up some potentially very interesting territory in the opening track which it hasn't really explored, kinda disappointing
i still like it a lot but it's not 'pine' which is probably my platonic ideal of.ambient or w/e
Carbon Based Lifeforms - World of Sleepers

I only really liked Why Me.
Alkohol is the first entry on my new "ParD" playlist.
The cover art is still awesome.
I'm not super big on KMFDM in general, they are dumb fun music that makes me a wee bit nostalgic which is the main reason i listen to them sometimes
