Blasphemy, "Ritual" => "Weltering In Blood" (Fallen Angel Of Doom...., Wild Rags Records, 1990).
So.
War metal.
My only reservation initially was that this wasn't so dissonant as I would like, but holy fuck, those guitar solos changed my mind. With better low end, this would be egregiously brutal.
...I think I was channelling this track on some weird psychic level when I made "Saint Sebastian, By the Hands of Reni", or else was just unconsciously duplicating aspects of Voigt's other work in a way that coincidentally resulted in something uncannily similar to this. At least, the underlying track is very close to this, albeit with more high-end stuff in the percussion.
So this is maybe the most straightforwardly dancey, dubby, almost aggressive thing on here—horns! something resembling hi-hats! BASS!—but it's still very, very Gas.
NaS ft. Redhead Kingpin, Rob Base, The Original Spinderella, The Father MC, Monie Love, Mike G. from The Jungle Brothers, E.S.T from 3x Dope, Positive-K, Krazy Drayzy from Das EFX, Doitall from Lords Of The Underground, Chip-Fu from The Fu-Schikens, and Dres from Black Sheep - Where Are They Now? (90s Mix)

Some ambient/dub techno(?) to break up the metal.
