I like the original Sarkhan Vol. Sarkhan The Mad was...well, I actually like the concept, but I don't like the execution.

The Sarkhans aren't Jace-tier, but they're still pretty good IMO. Repeatable Act of Treason is good stuff, and so is the combo Glorious Anthem/Fires of Yavimaya his first ability offers. The second one's masochistic tendencies are amusing, but he's not a bad card either.

I like the concept behind Sarkhan, but both of his incarnations have been useless. Before they started spoiling DKA I thought maybe we'd get a double-faced card of him, since he canonically has the ability to turn into a dragon, but I guess not.

Hopefully in AVR we'll get Kiora or Zarek, and not Hans Olo or whatever his name is.

Oh, he's not bad, but unless you're running Proliferate or four Mad Planeswalkers, he's not much of a game changer. OTOH, he fits Grixis shit quite well.

^I wouldn't say they're useless. Sarkhan Vol is in my Scion deck and he works amazingly well. Admittedly, his ultimate's not game ending, but it is certainly good stuff.

What is EDH?

Elder Dragon Highlander, also called Commander. 100-card decks, a legendary general, and basically the most insanity you can have in Magic.

What is EDH?

EDH/Commander is a Magic Multiplayer format. basically, everyone builds a 100 card with the following specs:

*It must have at least one legendary creature, which is the Commander. The Commander's always in the Command Zone and he sets your deck's colour identity up. (The Colour Identity is basically the colours that are used to cast the Commander or the colours that are used to trigger their abilities, in the case of Memnarch)

*Besides basic lands, you can't have any repeated cards. You can only have one copy of each card.

After that, everybody bashes their faces in against each other with big spells.

Since most Yugioh sets have around 20 - 35 "filler" cards in their sets. How many does MTG tend to have a set?

Apparently Kite-man actually beat up Batman a few times by throwing kites at him because lol, Silverage.

Crazy Quilt, on the other hand...just got beat up by Robin. He could only see bright colors, so it's unlikely he would even be able to SEE Batman (who he ended up never actually meeting).

They'd have to make him some sort of free 1/1 or something that Artifacts and black creatures have protection against.

Captain Boomerang's hard to take seriously, too. I mean, every plan he ever did had to involve boomerangs: giant boomerangs, time-traveling boomerangs, etc. I mean, I know he's good with boomerangs and everything, but just because you're good at something doesn't mean you should base your entire life of crime around it.
