I'd imagine the 'miracle' concept it lends itself best to blue as you have more control over what you draw. Although Sensei's Divining Top makes it viable an option in the other colours too.
Considering that Izzet cards are the only reason that I even considered playing blue, I wish they had done more with this Izzet creature. If anything's going to get pushed come next October, I want it to be weirds.
But yeah, a few of the cards from the first Mirrodin make you think someone was asleep at the wheel. Perhaps not quite Tolarian Academy tier, but pretty close. (Why, just, why.)
I now wish to attempt making a deck that can work without lands
I figure that, if I put enough "Llanowar Elves" lookalikes in a deck, along with a few mana artifacts like Sol Ring and some signets, I should be able to nuke all the lands on the field and continue with minimal difficulties. After all, most cards only need two or three colored mana, at the most.
I was thinking about how it would let you do all sorts of crazy stuff with discard cards and junk.
You'd be able to use Entomb as an extra Demonic Tutor. Traumatize would give you a third of your deck to work with.
You know, if I was going to give a planeswalker that kind of Emblem, I'd give it to a green/black planeswalker. Stuff coming infinitely from your graveyard is kind of a green/black thing.
Yeah, the rest of her's fine. Very blu-ish, but not game-breakingly bluish. And she's pretty, which is nice, but I wish MTG would let some normal-looking people become planeswalkers.
I mean, I know artists generally draw pretty people - it's how they get hired and get paid - but does the planeswalker spark only manifests in chiseled hunks and busty beauties? I'd like to see someone more gruesome get the spark for once -- or a less elegant creature type, like a Goblin.
yarrun: my new headcanon is that this guy has the spark, but he's too happy with life to ever experience the traumatic stress that turns people into planeswalkers.

A single Swamp and a single Everflowing Chalice
The most terrible deck in existence.

I don't care about Temporal Mastery anymore. Or any other card. It's a MOONFOLK PLANESWALKER.

I can even make a commander deck out of it.

Huh. Cool, a planeswalker that can defend against milling decks.

Things that the Moonfolk Planeswalker can do in a cool way
- Play Armageddon, get all your lands back immediately. Same with Wrath of God and Fracturing Gust
- Black/Blue discard cards can't do anything
- You can sac your own creatures and get them back whenever you want.
- Countered spells go back into your hand instead of your graveyard
- Infinite Strip Mine
- Infinite Counterspells
- Infinite Doom Blade
I have a bad feeling that this is going to end up being banned in some format. It scares me just thinking about her in an Izzet deck.Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
