Yes, because the guy that was saying "I already won" wasn't already tempting fate. :P
@Tnophelia: Diamonnes is another troper. It was him, me and Haven duking it out. Well, more like, Dia and me beating Haven because Uril's scary and Haven trying to recover.
Reminds me of the time people would swap the images of their Yugioh cards out with humorous or awesome scans, since the cards were still legal to play even if you cut the image out with scissors or a box cutter.
A friend of mine has a version of this card where haze is crossed out and replaced with DISCO PARTY, and there are a bunch of multicolored lights in the mist.
Just won a five-player EDH game. By causing at least two rage quits (the first person rage quit after the revelation that five-player games might take longer than 20 minutes) and then, well, not dying I guess.
Kor Haven, Mystifying Maze, and the mana to use them both is delicious.
You forgot that the second person quit because they realized that in EDH nothing is forever (Which is hilarious, considering that the name's supposed to reference Highlander) and the third person quit after you went "Fuck your hand, man".
I fought till the end when the zombies ate me for all of my troubles
You make a 100 card deck with the following requirements:
*Singleton (This is you can only have one card of a kind. So, for example, you can only put in one demonic tutor. This doesn't apply to basic lands)
*You need to choose a legendary creature. This legendary creature will be your Commander. He starts on the Command Zone, where nothing can touch him, simply because no cards refer to the Zone. You can cast your Commander from the zone any time as long as you can pay whatever costs he requires. If he dies or is exile, you can put him back on the zone and the next time you cast him, his cost will be increased by two colourless mana
*The cards in your deck have to belong to your Commander's colour identity. So if, for example, you go with this guy:
that means that in your deck, there can only be cards that produce or use white, blue or green mana.
There are various ways of approaching Commander, really. You can build your deck around your general or you can just choose a general because you like the colours and want to use that combination for whatever reason. But my advice is to make a deck to make a deck that can exploit its general skills while being able to keep it together and work on its own. It's a balance that sounds hard to reach but over time you realize it's kinda simple to reach, in my opinion.
ETA: Any advice you might want with building a deck, you can ask here. And we can recommend a Commander, even, depending on what you want.
That's one of the best-designed cards in Dark Ascension from an elegance standpoint, in my opinion. And yeah, I love her art. Like many of Innistrad's vampires, her taste in fashion is fantastic.
I spent some time a while ago theorising about the different cards of fear that Innistrad's monsters tap into:
Zombies: Scary because they're inexorable. There are always more, they never get tired, even hacking off their limbs won't stop them. Vampires: Scary because they're tempting. They exert a strong allure even as they commit atrocities. Werewolves: Scary because they're savage; they represent a primal fury that lurks within the hearts of even the most outwardly civilized individual.

But this is fairly well known.
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
One guy has about 12 or 14 soldiers, all with more than 6 power and toughness
I have 11 treefolk with Timber, 17 insect tokens and Dourbark with 23/23
The other guy's making us draw a billion cards per turn and has us lose 2 life for each card we discard
Casual format is best format.

I prefer the Innistrad vampires; classy, evil and devilishly sexy.
There should be a Soren, Lord of Existentialism.
And then Friedrich, Overman's Herald.
Zombies: Scary because they're inexorable. There are always more, they never get tired, even hacking off their limbs won't stop them.

I couldn't really pin down spirits, though.
