Following up "words have trouble cuttin it" with pulling way back so you can't see them seems like it's just Hussie hussling again, but then it's hard to imagine a kiss actually happening while Callie's still adjusting to being around other people.
I've seen speculation that alive-Vriska is going to push Fishka too far, then Fishka's going to snap and kill her, then take her place in the narrative. 'Twould be an... interesting development.
There's also the fact that Fishka just walked away and left the entire dreamsphere to Lord English's mercy, and she never showed any remorse for doing so.
Granted, that's irrelevant now that John rebooted the timeline, but Fishka doesn't know that.

Fishka's continued existence is evidence that retcons (even John's retcons, the most powerful force we've seen in the comic yet) just don't work the same in the Furthest Ring. So anything Fishka did out there most likely hasn't been erased.

The worst of her mistakes - which were the ones that affected the SBURB game and the fight against Lord English - have been erased, in any case.
Besides, how does that explain Tavros, who is still dead in this timeline yet doesn't remember anything that Fishka did to him?

This isn't quite an accurate perspective. It's true that she stopped trying to fight LE, but she wasn't very well equpped, and her efforts were probably more destructive than productive. Also, she admits Aranea was doing the heavy lifting when it came to the mass mind control.
Just letting it go really was the best thing she could do, both for her well being and everyone else's.
Anyway, I can't wait for Vriska to relate this story to Karkat, who just smiles knowingly until it sinks in on her.

She still hasn't shown any remorse or empathy for either that or for any of the more direct things that she did to her friends and the dancestors themselves, except insofar as they affected her.
In that regard, she is still very much like the Vriska who was yelling at her.
It's pretty sad that Karkat has given up his desire to be a leader. It's very sad to see a person lose something which was once so important to him/her.
At least the Karkat who died in the lava, died acting, trying to be a subject rather than an object.
At least we weren't treated to logs of those three years, seeing Karkat fade into what he is now. Dang, I never realized I gave a dang about Karkat until now.
I didn't really get into Homestuck until after the Gigapause, but I did notice that Hussie seemed kinda burnt out on Homestuck shortly before it happened.
I'd also like to say that those people who you're saying have “infinite generosity” would've gotten Biblically angry if Hussie had asked for more money to make up for what TOG stole, because they would assume that he was the one who squandered the money.
You paid for a game, and a game got made (it sounds like maybe two or three got made). You get what you get and you don't throw a fit. It's like, you got a banana cream pie and you're complaining because you paid for Key Lime, and I'm just like, "It's a pie! Be happy that you got pie!".

KANAYA: It Really Uh
KANAYA: Blitzed Our Chakras
we need a soul portrait of those two now
and i don't like it
it very likely is

i don't think i actually like Vriska very much
i mean at times she's interesting and i understand why she's as messed up as she is
but nevertheless

because she seems pretty much the same old Vriska to me
I still do think that regular Vriska is right that Fishka is still a bad person in her own right, though.
Yes, i meant she seemed out of character.
and regular Vriska is right insofar as Fishka is still basically Vriska
that thing with alternate selves again

That post explains a lot in that regard.
i was wondering why it was taking so long
SO now we can have both Hiveswap AND King's Quest, due to the Homestuck Fandom's infinite generosity.

i would have thought, with your views on piracy and whatnot, you'd be at least a little disapproving of actual theft, but whatever.
