So I was bored and decided to re-read the first few pages of Homestuck. I was totally reading the GameBro review of Sburb in 90's Kid's voice just now. XD
Dammit, every time I see Eridan on skaianet now, I hear "I WWORK OUT" in my head. :P
Speaking of which, how does such a despicable character in canon get to be so endearing in the fan art? (The same could apply to Vriska, too, though she at least tried to atone for her bad side in the end.)
Your bro had a lot of junk like this manufactured over the years. He patented the technology for producing THREE DIMENSIONAL JPEG ARTIFACTS, to make products shittier than was ever previously imaginable. He made a killing off them. Not because anyone bought this garbage. But because they were so cheap to manufacture, their cost was actually NEGATIVE, therefore miraculously netting him profit for every unit produced. He made so much money this way, he had enough to finance manned space missions to haul all of the hideous unwanted jpeg shit off the Earth, and launch it into the sun. But years thereafter, every now and then someone would report a stray shitty skateboard slowly drifting back into Earth's atmosphere. People would pray they would burn up on reentry. But they never would.
While playing Soul Calibur, I came across a randomly generated AI fighter who used the Devil Jin style and looked suspiciously like Jade.
I take this as proof that Jade Harley is a third-generation Mishima, that Jane Crocker carries the Devil Gene, and that she will defeat Lord English in single combat, just as her father Jin once did with Azazel.
What makes this even more awesome is that it's a callback to an abandoned idea Hussie had about making a flash animation of Bro and Dave having a rap battle with sylladexes. I think he thought it would take up too much time.
Also, Hussie made a comic about fighting robots that fight better depending on how well their masters rap.
Were you not aware of that comic I linked? I would have figured a fan like you would have already seen all of Hussie's pre-MSPA stuff he's linked to on the site.
Another odd pondering: If ~ATH is a perverse version of C++ or Java, I wonder if ^CAKE is some equally morbid version of Pascal (because Pascal uses ^ as an indirection operator).
Something else I didn't realise until recently because I didn't pay enough attention in the early acts: Lord English's entrance at the end of the [o] intermission is a callback to the very beginning of Act 2, when WV first contacts John.
I should install XP in a VM and then delete system32 just to see how badly it behaves. Or just install the copy of Vista that came with my lappy on a spare HDD, and do the same.
Ah. I was hoping for something more spectacular, like the XP equivalent of an NES with a failing edge connector, but oh well.
I remember that deleting the registry had some weird effects on Windows ME -- it'd boot, but not do anything useful afterwards -- but since NT-based Windows uses the registry to decide what drivers to load at boot, I figure it wouldn't get far.

Maybe it's the nostalgia filter, but I remember this being a lot better than fucking Drake and Josh.

I've read some Humanimals though.
