    i guess one respect in which he had a claim to empiricism was his assessing the merits of thinkers on the basis of their behaviour, not purely their arguments?

    that was the reasoning behind deriding Dawkins for not being ripped, if you recall

    This reminds me of how I keep flip-flopping on whether my Princess personas are human or whether "princess" is a species

    The latter still seems a bit too silly for me

    But it's not like Princess Alice being a human makes much sense either, given that she's over 300 years old and can change her apparent age at will
