The sort of sadistic psychopath that Nui is usually doesn't work very well in my experience, but in a show this over the top she is perfect and I love her to bits.
I think Kill la Kill may have induced me to the first actual genuine shipping I have ever been a part of because seriously those two are just so adorable together.
Man is a most complex simple creature: see what he weaves, and how base his reasons for doing so.
Sanageyama is my favorite of the Four Heavenly Kings (that's what the original term refers to, four Buddhist deities that guard the cardinal directions).
I wound up watching the first five episodes of this show in the wee small hours and I must say: I love it. I have not laughed so hard in a very long time.
Also, this show is very late '80s/early '90s, isn't it?

I can't say I didn't see that last twist coming, but I had no idea it would happen then, or that it would happen in such a gruesome fashion.
I definitely didn't see episode 18 coming.
Definitely did not see that coming.
At all.
Her inevitable death will be welcome.
I don't like Ragyo either, even if she does have the best theme song.
every time i read this thread title the music plays in my head

I want this outfit so badly.
Assassin poems, Poems that shoot
guns. Poems that wrestle cops into alleys
and take their weapons leaving them dead
Danbooru will probably deliver at some point after it stops compulsively making porn of all the characters.
(contains spoilers for episode 18, sort of, by implication)
I just finished ep. 11 by the way. I'm stopping there for the night.
It's....interesting, so far, and it makes a neat companion piece to the anime.
there is nothing about this picture that's not hilarious
I need to lay down
Something about the particularities gets lost in translation in my mind or something.
