Laurentius is also crucial to my desire to be a Pyromancer.
Though at this point I've put so many points in Strength (it's at 20, though it could be higher) that I could probably do as a strictly melee character if I wanted to.
Seriously though, it's no longer on sale and even if it was, I'm kind of considering spending the rest of my 'poor decisions' money on Street Fighter x Tekken, and that'd be 18 dollars and I already spent that much on the Mighty 09 kickstarter and
Well, the short answer is that I don't have enough money, and I'm not making money fast enough to temporarily put myself in debt. Well, more debt.
After I got out (several tries later) I grinded for a little while and upgraded my Pyromancy Hand twice and got all of Laurentius' pyromancies. Is there a way for me to be able to hold more than two at once or is that always limited to two like the active equip slots?
Also I really like the lore behind the pyromancy spells given in the descriptions. It's some cool stuff.

Upgrade your attunement.
It works weirdly so you only get an extra slot at certain stat levels, instead of a gradual increase with every point, but it's worth upgrading to 19 or wherever the next slot after 19 is.
I want The Depths to be easier than they were last time I was there, but I've spent some time grinding in the cathedral already. Do you think I'll be alright with just two spells right now or should I go back and save up more souls? It's gotten to the point where I need quite a lot to gain points (around 6000 iirc).

Just tackle it.
Use some humanity before you go to the area with the Basilisks. The more points you have, the harder you are to curse.
lastly I'm going to assume that the extra few points of Dexterity I'd need to wield this Great Axe I found are not particularly worth it? I've upgraded my Battle Axe I found some time ago to a +5.
Also I bought the Heater Shield on your earlier advice.

Nah, just focus on Strength. Once you're done upgrading attunement, you can focus on END VIT and STR when you level up, and be a pretty good fighter in addition to a Pyromancer.

My current STR is 20 so I'd say I'm a decent one already :P
is there a way to render a bonfire unusable? Because I was in the middle of upgrading my Attunement at the Depths bonfire and it just stopped working. I can't select it now.
I welcome spoilers at this point. I only found out recently that I should've gone back and reinforced my weapon to a +10 at Andre's before going to Blighttown, and that there's actually stuff you can do in Darkroot Forest.

It's cool, you don't need the stuff in Darkroot just yet.
I'd head back after you get to Anor Londo.
Also once you ring the second bell and get back to Firelink, there will be a new face in the area that leads to the Graveyard. You may not think you can talk to the new character. You can.

ok.

Like, for yourself this time.
also I really like Solaire.

I also died on my way back there by failing to properly grab the ladder to Lower Undeadburg. -_-
Besides, then we'll be able to help each other in battle or something.
You do need a gamepad (most likely an Xbox 360 controller) for playing it though. The keyboard controls just don't work.

also I got a green titanite shard. Dunno what that's about.
I've been cursed and the only two mentioned cures are things I don't have access to yet
what do
Jesus though, now I have to backtrack all the way out of The Depths. :/

I might actually literally have none right now. I think I used the last of it just before the Belfry Gargoyles to uhallow and summon Solaire.
Also if you see more basilisks, try to backtrack and see where you made a wrong turn. You only strictly need to fight a small number of them.

I feel sad about this b/c I was under the impression I'd successfully killed my first invader :(
still best
No one help him get to the bottom.
Blighttown is something we must all face alone.
at least I got that Pyromancy that was just randomly on a corpse.
There's a lore reason why it's there, actually, but spoilers.
I'd head back after you get to Anor Londo.
thank you basedgod.
