By the time N is finished with the stick, it has a rough point at the end of it. While he puts the wooden shank into the bag, he hears Nathan incinerating the body.
"...Mr. Coal, this is a bit much, don't you think? You look like a necromancer"
Nathan, satisfied, went to the obelisk. He already had plans for the wand and charm. Partly ones involving catching something. Because dammit he was going to get a monster whether they liked it or not
Improvement: Improve "Phenol Trinitate" spell so it actually makes one cup of Phenol Trinitate from a gallon of water instead of just one cup of generic acid from one cup of water.
Improvement: Improve "Brimstone" spell to have a range of 3 instead of 2.
Belighor grabbed the remaining Lesser Wealth scroll and Elemental Resistance potion. "I g-guess I'll just t-take what's left, then. Er, if anyone else wants them they can have them I guess..."
Nathan then went back to being bored. He looked at the moth flying around his head. "Uh... Hey, moth? Think you could go keep the quiet guy over there company?" he motioned to Belighor. "Going to use some spells maybe"
He then looked at Kenneth. "Yes but it's a hand that fires earth spells. Imagine convincing a monster to shake it!"
"Hm?" Belighor's head perked up as the moth began circling around his head. "Ah, you're a torchlight moth, aren't you?" He opened his palm, allowing it to land. "Never hurts to have a source of light. If you're going to be sticking around, you'll need a name."
Belighor paused for a second, thinking. "Torchy. The Third. Of Dungeonia." Perfect.
Nathan smiled at his construct being summoned. "Alright Mech, now I want you to walk around and get used to this place. And if you see a blue slime, CAPTURE IT AT ALL COSTS THE FUCKER SLAPPED ME AND MUST BE MINE!"
N notices Belighor and extracts the Wooden Shank from his bag.
"Mr. Sydoria," he said as he walked towards him. With his trademark stiffness, he hands him the rough weapon. "Consider it a recognition of your skill".
Torchy III resumed circling around Belighor's head. Facing N, he smiled somewhat shyly, (though it was hidden by his scarf) taking the Wooden Shank. "T-thanks. Er, y-you're pretty skilled, too. Hopefully I won't need to use this, though b-because if I have to resort to melee combat something's horribly, wrong, anyway..."
He then went to find his construct, leaving the party for a bit to see if it found anything neat. Or that god damned slime. He'd catch that slime and name him Squishy
The second floor looks pretty similar to the first.
You are somewhat disappointed that no one's bothered to change the tileset yet.
Off in the distance, you hear a rattling sound. In front of you stretches another hallway. At the very far end of it, you can see a large room, but there's also another hallway intersecting this one closer to that.
"Mech, run ahead and investigate. If it is something that would easily kill us, get it to chase you down other halls. If not, distract it. And if it's superstitious, bring it here"

You incinerate the body to a useless crisp.

"One ashen Goblin bone should be fine. Two is questionable. An entire bagfull is very suspicious."
He empties the bag and grabs what remains of the hands. One for him, one for Kenneth

(Belighor)
Torchy III has entered the party!
"Wait a minute" she said out load to the others. "This obelisk seems to made of the same material as that golem from earlier."
"If we can harvest pieces from this, we could fashion stronger weapons"

(Nathan & Demei)
Both of your weapons bounce harmlessly off the surface of the Obelisk, though Demei's mace makes an irritating ringing sound when it hits.
The Obelisk glows briefly.

Your spider construct is crawling about, but does not seem to have found anything of interest.
He began to also make a bunch of noise to draw out monsters that could be hiding
