Yarrun, the Imp is standing in front of the Goblin that's in front of the Shaman.
Furthermore, none of your spells penetrate, so there's no real reason to try to line yourself up with the Shaman anyway. From where you are, you can only hit one of the Goblins.
Do you want to hit that one, or do something else?
For the purposes of future adventure, can we use Ray of Light to increase accuracy of projectiles?
No
I'm not even sure why it realistically would.
The attack could serve the same purpose as a sight for another attack by pinpointing the area. It's actually a very clever idea.
I suppose. But honestly the Ray of Light is less of a spotlight and more of a thin beam that only persists for a moment or two. A Corona effect would make more sense on Magelight.
So, how many times can Lucretia shoot with her sling in one turn?
Once. And it's only short range, meaning you can't launch a rock as far as you just did without moving closer to one of the goblins, which you can do, but made no mention of doing.
I would've made it more but that would make you OP, and the sling's not really the focus of your character anyway.
You get a Spell Slot (which has a couple different uses) at Levels 3 and 5. I have yet to decide if I just want to make it "every other level after that" or not, but I'm thinking so.
A Spell Slot lets you either add a new spell, add an alt-cast to one of your existing spells, or add a Passive.
Don't mouth off to me please, and especially don't do it if you're just going to edit it out two seconds later. All starting Wizard weapons have the same range and damage to keep it balanced, if you are lucky you might find a better sling somewhere.

We'll cast another spell.

But the spellset's set in stone at this point. I'll add it to the list of things that N's spells will do once he's awesome.

I expect you'll all level up by the end of this floor, even though this particular floor is basically just this room and two smaller ones.
Since you get XP for winning battles, clearing floors, and finding treasure.

Depends.
XP is not actually a tracked stat (hidden or otherwise), you just level up when I deem it's appropriate for you to do so.
There are only certain things you can do when leveling up. Especially on your first level.
Since Aliroz is taking awhile, I might as well go ahead and list them.

not at Level 2 you don't.

I'll try to be more clear in the future as to things like this.
alternate casting methods allow the same spell to do different things. Passives are bonuses you can gain based on your schools and class.
If you backread the main thread a few pages you'll find the stat sheet for the NPC Ilmenda Elyvilon, who has one of each of those things.

This is taking longer than I'd like it to.
I may start giving only singular monsters DEF and Mg.DEF stats. To make combat go more quickly.
fine
you want that bag to do something incredible
