Even if that sad human being isn't joking, the photographer probably was, going "ha, this guys' hilarious, I should upload this picture to the internet so the rest of the world can laugh at him".
Not knowing the actual contents of said course and knowing that half the most important recent thinkers in the humanities could reasonably be described as 'radical leftist thinkers' (e.g. Noam Chomsky), i am withholding judgement.

Interesting. :o It doesn't simplify it into 'if you're this group step back/forward'. Notice how many of the steps are 'if you were treated differently because of this aspect of you' instead of just 'if you're part of this group'. Perhaps some of them seem a bit questionable, but I would imagine the sheer number of questions would correct that?
