I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
So, uh, "Hurricane Fluttershy". Definitely better than the previous episode. I liked the three continuity nods in the cold open (the mule, Fluttertree, and Rainbow pushing Fluttershy into the library), the intentionally 50s-feeling instructional film...really, it was lots of fun.
Though I actually kinda find it sad that they decided on a Sherlock Holmes look for Pinkie in "MMMystery on the Friendship Express". It's almost like they felt that making her up as Hercule Poirot would just go over too many heads or something.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022

...Is this the first time we've actually seen a movie in Equestria?
Between this and the video games, it seems like they have modern technology--or at least the technology of 40-50 years ago--but for whatever reason they choose to use it sparingly.

To be fair...think of the target audience. Sherlock Holmes is iconic enough that even kids can recognize his memetic outfit, but how many little girls have actually heard of Hercule Poirot?

Oh, I'd be surprised if they didn't throw in some smaller reference, honestly.

But then, the episode hasn't even been released yet, so I guess we'll just have till then to see if they actually did do something like that.
Keep an eye on Rainbow Dash.
In other news, lol wingboners.

This is the only MLP t-shirt I would buy.
Also, guess who?
Except the Rainbow Dash Presents versions. That stuff is legitimately funny, at least.
