I think it's one of those things where people thought it was way more widespread than it was.
It was the title of a Drake song, some tweens started saying it, stopped a week later, and then everyone decided it was a huge thing.
I only ever hear people say it in jest anyway.
Swag is also over-hated.
Mostly because I be ill, trill, swag, gangnam style etc.
