Which is good, but then again, getting her out of the city seems like a huge step back story wise considering how big of a deal they made about her being in it.
I recently binged Epiphany. People talk a lot about the slow pacing, but the pace felt perfect to me. It's a very low-key story in spite of the subject matter, so having events come together gradually at an increasing velocity feels much more appropriate than a rapid-fire approach.
I think it's nearing the end stretch now. Not sure what Jay's going to do the round it off...
She still has pants on, and knowing Phil Foglio's past work, I don't think he'd pass up an opportunity to draw Agatha in lingerie. So.....probably not.

So ummmm...
Where the FUCK did Krosp and Violetta go?
Krosp mysteriously disappeared some pages back, Violetta before that.
I would have humored they where keeping out of site until they felt that Agatha needed assistance, but "being poisoned into being someone's assistant" sort of counts as "needing assistance".
Also, do we need ANOTHER instance of Agatha being under control of someone else?
This comic has turned "not going anywhere" into an art-form.
The sheer snarkiness of the tailed girl is part of why I stopped reading. After the snark of a character passes a certain level without being countered by punishment or snark from another person, it becomes annoying and I can no longer tolerate it.
The other reason is that the imagery got weird in the middle of chapter 2.
Hey, It's worth it for the background art, and the background characters. Like the two-headed guy, the shop signs filled with puns, the M.C. Escher building designs; so yeah. ANYWAYS NEW OOTS COMIC WITH THE MOST SHOCKING TWIST YET!

My issue is not so much that we went to Mechanicsburg and that this means everything that happened was a waste, just we (the readers) spent WAY too long there if this was going to be the intention.
We just spent...what...two...three years to cover what amounts to maybe a week of in universe time? To build up to some sort of crazy climax? Just so they could time skip two and a half years with the main character being MIA? Seriously?
I won't say that I'm not interested in this new direction. However, I will say that it seems the Fogilos need to sit down and get a hold of the pacing for this story.
Pacing, Schmacing. For those of us with no real sense of time, good pacing is the same as bad pacing. When you can't tell an hour from a second, waiting isn't so bad.

I doubt that's an attitude that covers very much of their reader base. People have been complaining about the pacing since the whole "Tavrek is poisoned!" ark, and it's never been fixed since.

Really liking both of these, but particularly Thunderpaw. It is all kinds of weird, and there are moments like this. I mean, wow.
