  Thought I should mention that Tullamore Dew is very nice Irish Whiskey. Quite a bit smother than Jameson.

  
  

  Macallan Cask Strength is a very different, very nice Scotch. 

  
  

  Friday got me a bottle of Glenmorangie 18 year which is very smooth.

  
  

  Patron's XO Cafe and XO Cafe Dark Cocoa are also very nice if a bit syrupy.

  Not really a fan of scotch, but what makes Macallan Cask Strength different from other Scotches?

  It's aged in sherry barrels, so it's actually got a bit of a red tint and tastes vaguely of sherry.

  bretagne does some real nice cider. this was rustic as hell. it tasted like a farmyard. and i mean that in the best possible way
  
  also white beer is still best beer. in particular this which is the first ever icelandic craft beer
  
  
  good points about this beer
  
  - it's fucking tasty
  - the brewery slogan is 'Drink. Conquer. Repeat.'
  - look how nice that label is. that's some proper design work. i could stare at that bottle all day

  Tried Gluhwein for the first time. It's pretty good. Definitely gonna try my hand at making some homemade Gluhwein at some point.
