  For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.

  Mostly by driving when/where there aren't any other cars on the road, I'd imagine.

  
  

  You ever see Smoke Signals? There's a minor character in that who drives in reverse all the time, because it's the only gear that still works on her old junker of a car.
