    because thinking hard enough about Filmation's original Batman show from the '60s, and Olan Soule's Batman voice, makes me think of giving a kid Batman, in the form of a chocolate bar, that tastes the way Batman should

    "Batman is safe, wholesome fun for kids" doesn't mean I can't watch specific installments of whichever version and think wow he's absolute daddy here.

    referring to a previous groupwatch of Batman TAS episodes last Sunday where one of the episodes we watched was "The Forgotten", wherein Bruce Wayne goes undercover as a transient to investigate a string of disappearances, then ends up getting knocked out and taken away himself while suffering amnesia, and his disguise in not-so-lowkey pretty hot imo
