  Like. It needs to be good wrestling. The characters need to be played pitch-perfect. But this horseshit? 

  To be blunt, yes. The whole point of making pro wrestling follow a script is to avoid the chaotic (and often unsatisfying) narratives you get from real life. And the mixed martial arts leagues are already filling the niche of "pro wrestling without the script".
