How the fuck do you do it while also not determining the outcomes of matches in advance?

Like. It needs to be good wrestling. The characters need to be played pitch-perfect. But this horseshit? How's it supposed to work?

    To be blunt, yes. The whole point of making pro wrestling follow a script is to avoid the chaotic (and often unsatisfying) narratives you get from real life. And the mixed martial arts leagues are already filling the niche of "pro wrestling without the script".
