    You know, I haven't been to Wendy's much in my life. I feel like there aren't many of them around in Toronto, compared to McDonald's / Burger King / Harvey's. There's one near my doctor's office though.

    Oh, don't get me wrong, neither McDonald's nor Wendy's can touch Cane's when it comes to chicken tenders. They don't even approach Popeyes quality.

    But there's a million more McDonald's and Wendy's locations around than Popeyes or Cane's.

    Raising Cane's > Popeyes > KFC > Wendy's = McDonald's > any kind of "nugget"

    I consider nuggets and tender to be two completely separate categories.

    Sometimes I want nuggets, but other times I want chicken, you know?

    because I don't like chicken "tenders" very much since they're pretty much always less "tender" than nuggets because chicken breast is naturally drier and less flavorful?

    sometimes I want nuggets, but only rarely do I want tinder.

    (my mom calls dry stringy meat "tinder".  well, the Chinese equivalent of it, at least.)

    also if I wanted 'real' chicken I'd get a whole chicken rotisserie from somewhere.
