I was going to just perform some kind of gangland-style execution on Kexruct for otherkin shaming with the power of SCIENCE, but when you put it that way, that sounds mighty skeevy...
Wait, that's how the ORGONE CANNON works! It's powered by sexy Marxist hope energy! I was the SJPoH all along!
my housemate doug recently got back from a two-month trip to china, and in his travels he found a nightclub that had these weird simpsons posters, so he had to take pictures to show me.
Tumblr has accelerated my feelings toward Macklemore from "he's okay I guess, I like Can't Hold Us" to full on adoration due solely to a need to be contrary to whining.
you are driving home from work when you hear a thud on the roof. you can hear a muffled voice, but the only word you can make out is “baka”. you figure it’s just your imagination and keep driving. however, the threat is all too real- you realize now that dozens of anime girls are falling from the sky and getting mad at you because it’s not like they like you or anything. you’ve been caught in the middle of… a tsunderstorm.
And with this post, Tumblr's existence has been completely justified.
So: The new proposed amendment to copyright law as they describe it is not a particularly good thing, but is most certainly not a SOPA-type provision. It will likely allow for more RIAA-style "piracy is evil!" bull, but that's a different beast entirely, and should be approached thus.
You are the end result of a “would you push the button” prompt where the prompt was “you have unlimited godlike powers but you appear to all and sundry to be an impetuous child” – Zero, 2022
Yeah, that's kind of depressing. But by the same token, making your work an open sandbox or putting it into the public domain is a much stronger gesture than it was in the days of more flexible copyright.
For the record, googling the first sentence of the article yields no results (so it’s a fake)
Is it just me, or is there this rather bizarre, creepy fixation of internet people to WANT bronies all to be weird, out of touch with reality horse fuckers? Is it THAT hard to accept there are people out there with hobbies and interests you don’t get but are otherwise completely normal and functional members of society?
Just look at some of the comments on the reblog. People are DISAPPOINTED that the story about a person who broke into someone’s stables to fuck a horse while imagining a cartoon character are fake.
DISAPPOINTED!
Holy carp guys, you’re ON the internet. You can just go FIND videos of guys having sex with horses if that’s your thing.

If one's opinion on bronies is informed entirely by their tumblr presence, yes.
I've learned to tolerate drama...except on the boat
You know what aspect of brony-hate I don't get? The whole "nerds watching a children's cartoon" thing being treated as if it were invented by the MLP:FIM fandom.
No, because ATLA and the DCAU and all that stuff weren't for children, no

It's more "male nerds watching a girl's cartoon," which is perhaps even more presumptuous.

Why would you let your opinion of anything be informed solely by that thing's Tumblr presence?

Still working out some of the kinks on it, but it's functional and looks nice enough.

Also if you run into that problem with the posts overlapping try resizing the window, usually that gets Masonry to rerender itself correctly.
