Well, YouTube getting in on Rickrolling was what finally made that meme grind to a halt, so with any luck it will end this Harlem Shake nonsense too.

The song is annoying, the meme is unfunny, and the cultural appropriation is infuriating.

Basically, the song's mediocre, and the people behind the song are shifty-eyed jerks and they intentionally erased any mention of the original Harlem Shake. (And Centie beat me to it)
I'm not a fan of the meme either. Besides the Luigi video (which is pretty far from the negative aspects of the meme), the only version that I particularly like is the Norewgian army one.
