We have very different Christmas experiences I guess.
I mean, my family doesn't buy me big gifts anymore, but I get to travel to see AU the weekend before and that's pretty special to me.
To be honest, getting to visit AU is probably like 95% of why I'm as hyped for Christmas as I am right now, otherwise I'd just be like "oh god is it Thanksvgiving break yet"

Christmas for me is usually 90% being insulted and given gifts I didn't ask for and don't want (last year I got a fucking razor even though I just get shaved at the barber shop when I go). 10% is a quiet evening with the family where I will sometimes get one thing that I asked for.

Some things are clear cut. Things like "people attempting suicide is worse than people drawing a fat character skinny." That doesn't necessitate much research.

For me, there's, like, two levels of wrong to the whole thing.
The first is that "you drew Pearl with a small nose despite my belief that she's Jewish" is not the kind of thing a reasonable person would feel righteous anger about.
The second, and more important one, is that if you do feel angry about something like that, that doesn't mean it's ok to bully and harass people over it.
