I think the "all or nothing" when cutting posts is annoying, but that's because I do a lot of roleplaying on my main blog and it was nice to be able to trim it to the last couple posts instead of either 1) annoying the fuck out of everyone with really long posts or 2) cutting everything so it's up in the air whether or not the person I'm talking to remembers the rest of the thread.
