I think you have to enjoy the early sections' Teen Hijinks to really get much enjoyment out of the rest.

Alterniatively you could just read Act 5 Act 1; there's only one flash, but it's all about psychic bloodthirsty aliens and such.

Eh, it's not a great meme by any means but It's hardly the worst. Still, that episode of Freakazoid is still one of my favorites.

I always found Arthur boring, I remember his little sister annoying me and the general story line being quite boring.

However I loved Hey Arnold even though it was targeted towards my younger brother's age group. Helga of course being my favourite character despite her creepy bubble-gum shrine to Arnold.

Does anyone remember the name of the cartoon with the girl that drew things with crayons and they came to life?

So ummm...Netflix streaming is a good investment...

Watched the the first couple Futurama movies. Honestly, they didn't really strike me as particularly strong additions to the series. Entertaining, but I've seen much better episodes.

Bringing Kiff back in the second one actually kind of seemed like a mistake to me, though I guess having him and Amy break up would work just as well.

Ugly Americans is just hilarious. I watched all of season one and will probably consume more.

Also, finished Cities of Gold (series ending spoilers ahead). I think it was a bit of a cop out that the children's parents both got offed almost immediately. I guess it wraps things up easily enough, but it seems pretty cheap to introduce these characters, which have basically been the primary motivators for two characters and then kill them off.

Having Mendoza admit that he considered the children family was nice, and really one of the few moments of character development we get to see. Though, Mendoza always had a bad habit of saving the children anyways, even when it seems most greedy people would have a hard time rationalizing just how much personal danger it was worth to keep the children alive.

It was nice to see Sancho, Pedro, and him actually come out on top at the end though and to establish "Yes, this character DOES in fact care quite a bit about gold", also that Mendoza's pragmatism contributed no small part to the victory.

All and all, it was entertaining, but I wish we saw a bit more development out of the characters.

Also, it would have been nice to see Mendoza and Gaspard duel towards the end there.

Anyone watching, watched some of the Avengers Cartoon?

Friday and I have watched about the first 10 episodes.

It's...OK... but it's not nearly as engaging as say...Justice League or the 90s X-Men cartoon.

A major problem is they seam hellbent in introducing as much characters in each episode as possible.

The Avengers will often go up against two villains (or groups of villains) in a single episode. And make it a point to include almost every single Avenger.

Contrast with Justice League and X-Men who would often take two episodes to deal with a single villain and may even leave out some of the main cast, leaving more time to get to know the characters.

Friday and I have watched a bunch of Wolverine and the X-Men.

I guess I have to say it's pretty good. I, personally, just don't like Wolverine that much and am not a huge fan of seeing him a lot.

I also like Cyclops, when he's actually being a leadership guy...which is not in this. He's basically the same mopey person he is in the comics currently (or at least last time I heard), if they even bother to give him any lines.

Other than that, visually it looks better than the avengers and they're taking much more time. I think they could stand to spend a little more time with characters. I mean, Toad, Blob, Avalanche? Sure, it's pretty obvious what their powers are more or less, but adding Domino without bothering to explain her power? Yeah, an explanative line could have helped.

Also, Rogue is still a whinny teen. I am so tired of whinny teen Rogue. She's like all of the bad aspects of regular Rogue, mixed with all the bad aspects of Jubilee.

X-Men came out in 2000 and I must have been 16 then.

I preferred Rogue from the comic then, as well.

Domino has the ability to alter probability. She joined up with Cable back when he was running X-Force (X-Force was basically the "C" list of mutants. Sorry Boom-Boom, Cannanball, wolf girl who I can't remember and wasn't as good as Wolf's bane anyways...).

This kinda proves my point. She's a pretty obscure character to just throw out without so much of an introduction.

Technically, they kinda did the same with Boom-Boom and a handful of other mutants...

Major downside, only one season and it ended on a huge cliffhanger.

I suggest an episode or two of Gravity Falls afterwards to sooth the sadness.

Well, I like Cadpig and Spot, and the show has some funny lines, but really it just feels kinda going-through-the-motions-y at times

Friday and I started re-watching the 90s X-Men. It's held up pretty well and still probably the best animated adaption of the comics I can think of.

We also started watching the new Thundercats.

Snarf doesn't talk and is now cute and not annoying. The Thunderkittens are far less annoying. Episode three featured a fishman Captain Ahab, episode four was one of the best things I have ever seen EVER.

Did I mention that episode three had a fucking fishman Captain Ahab!?

The people responsible for this only having one season should be publicly executed.

Thundercats continues to be good. Maybe not as continuously good as the first few episodes, but there are some gems.

I watched the first episode of Chowder. The first half was pretty meh, but I laughed continuously through the second half.

Watched the first few episodes of Dan vs.

It's wonderfully surreal, clever, and full of laugh out loud moments.

That being said, this:

Seems sort of ill advised.

I suppose they could be trying to get Bronies to watch Dan vs or trying to get fans of Dan vs to watch MLP:FiM, but wholesome family fun, Dan vs aint.

Somethings that have happened:

Dan agrees to murder someone. His friend Chris is reluctant. Thankfully, a bus hits this person. It is implied this person will not live.
Dan and Chris hit a road runner with a car. They then cook and eat it.
Two characters fly a hijacked space ship into Santa Fe and start blasting signs, buildings, and people with a death ray.
Chris runs over a cyclist with his car.

This is just the first two episodes...

It's too bad that Dan Vs. isn't more popular/being pushed harder by the network, because it's what they desperately need.

It's not meant to sell anything, and this would be a big deal for a channel that otherwise seems to be all about hawking toys and such...
