It's about....stuff.

okay, well in short it's about an eleven year old genius who becomes a high school teacher, and the series chronicles her adventures with her class.

In practice it's a bit hard to describe.

I am watching episode 18 at this very moment.

fanservice is fine too. Unless the characters aren't attractive or interesting, then it's boring. Like with Schindler's List, Destiny: AIDS or I Am Sam.

IN ANY CASE, yeah, most of it is focused on Rei, which I don't mind.

anyway you should totes watch it. It does kinda benefit from being watched in order, but I don't think it's a necessity.

I know that if you have the DVD set one of the features is a Pop-Up Video-style thing where they point out all the various whatsits and allusions, but I'm not sure there's a text list.
