What's PaniPoniDash about?
It's about....stuff.
okay, well in short it's about an eleven year old genius who becomes a high school teacher, and the series chronicles her adventures with her class.
In practice it's a bit hard to describe.
I am watching episode 18 at this very moment.

That's news to me and I've seen the movie twice. .__.
IN ANY CASE, yeah, most of it is focused on Rei, which I don't mind.
anyway you should totes watch it. It does kinda benefit from being watched in order, but I don't think it's a necessity.

Also I've started reading the original Pani Poni (no Dash) manga, it's rather different than the anime.
I also tried reading Magical Girl Behoimi, but could not find it in full.

Never seen it. Though, the basic premise sounds like this Canadian show on Disney XD named Mr. Young. Maybe that ripped it off or something.
I kind of doubt it.
Also "Poni" and "Pony" are not synonyms.
So, one major difference between the anime in the manga, in the manga it was just revealed that BEHOIMI IS ACTUALLY A MAGICAL GIRL. HOLYFUCKINGSHIT!!!!!!!!
