  I read the first few volumes as a kid because they were stocked as leftovers from one of our SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAAAAAAAAIRs but they didn't have them all so I fell off.

  
  

  I still remember it pretty well, though. Introduced me to the concept of quiches.

  Yeah, it does get a bit too bogged down in the fantasy stuff, but it always saves itself from drowning in it at the last moment.

  I first read parts of Bone from that junior Disney Magazine, but I first read the full Bone from that omnibus, and yes, I do prefer it over the colorized version.
