    For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
    In reality, the barber is holding the scissors in his right arm, and standing slightly closer to the mirror than the customer. In the mirror, the barber's reflection is still holding the scissors in his right arm, and he's slightly farther away from the mirror than the customer's reflection.

    Subtle details to clue us in that something is wrong, before we get the shocking reveal of the ogre.
  • The reflection of the barber in the mirror isn't visibly holding scissors at all, and both of his arms look to be held in roughly the same position, so I don't think there's actually an error there. Though he does look to be behind the man in the reflection but in front of him in the not-reflection so that part is wrong I guess.
  • each level of mirror-barber has less hair than the last, suggesting the barber is actually cutting his own hair in the imaginary time axis
