    1: Rocket Man
    2: Word Crimes
    3: Happy Birthday(My Olde Friend)
    4: I Am A Rock
5: I'd Do Anything For Love

A man goes into outer space on a solitary mission. He gets bored, and thinks about grammatical errors that irritate him. He thinks sardonically about his advancing age. He takes comfort in his isolation, just as he did in his earlier life. Then he remembers meeting his wife and feels better.

We can do anything if we do it together.
    1. Buzzcocks - A Different Kind Of Tension

This is about the tension that the protagonist feels in society.

    2. The Flaming Lips - When You Smile

Everything’s okay when he’s with his girl, though.

    3. The Beach Boys - Passing By

Pleasant interlude while he’s with his girl.

    4. Big Star - Big Black Car

But a girl only helps so much, and when he’s alone, his depression comes back to him.

    5. Neil Cicierega - Crocodile Chop

I don’t even know. Some sort of dance sequence, maybe.
  • fight. dream. horse. love.
Andrew Bird - "Banking on a Myth"
Jay-Z and Kanye West - "Welcome to the Jungle"
Kendrick Lamar - "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe"
    El-P - "The Full Retard"
Kanye West - "Drive Slow (feat. Paul Wall)"

the story of the most basic motherfucker ever to exist trying to be cooler than he actually is, with short detours through a horrifying dystopian hellscape and some hipster bullshit
  • are you trying to say that you don't like "Drive Slow", one of the finest songs of this or any generation
  • fight. dream. horse. love.
oh "Drive Slow" is immaculate, that's just the only common theme I could detect
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
I'm fairly certain that any scene with "Hundreds of Years" would involve some deep contemplation of nature and time, "Prosecution Scepter" would be some weird decadent BDSM fantasia (because Dominick Fernow), and "Yearning" would be this silent scene of sorrow and triumph, but "Cudgel" is like some weird ritual thing and "Over and Over" is... I guess some kind of sad dance sequence? I'm picturing an empty ballroom and some sad shoegzae ghosts. Or boogaze ghosts. Napstablookcore.
  • We can do anything if we do it together.
I'm glad I got you listening to TFUL282, heheh.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
Correction: "Prosecution Scepter" is when the stage is invaded by leathermen in Dalek masks while the lights strobe and everyone feels intensely paranoid.

I swear, only one song with actual lyrics...?
  • Djwwww & MC Play-station - 1991 (Edit)
    John Coltrane - Acknowledgement
Borbetomagus - 8/25/89 At DC Space, Washington
    Steely Dan - Black Cow

    4. Iced Earth - "Consequences"
    5. Insomnium - "Bereavement"

A group of air force pilots fly into enemy territory to try and bomb a secret base. They are shot down, and the only survivor is captured. He resists attempts to brainwash him into joining the enemy, and escapes from his cell. He encounters the commander of the base, who seems regretful for the things he's done and expresses a desire for peace. Despite that he kills the pilot, and then mourns for all the people whose deaths he is responsible for.

between the bars - elliot smith (it's actually a cover but i downloaded it off a now deleted mmv yeaaars ago so i'll never know who the artist that covered it was)
    bad girls - m.i.a
girl with one eye - florence + the machine
    nostrand - ratatat
    beyond any doubt - s/s/s

ok so this would probably be like the story of a girl dealing with a debilitating drug problem. between the bars would deal with her descending into alcoholism, bad girls would be her sort of reveling in it, girl with one eye would be her having a mental breakdown, nostrand would be a little musical interlude of her trying to put the pieces of her life back together again, and beyond any doubt would be the closing number reflecting back on her life.
  • Drake - The Motion (DJ Paypal & DJ Mastercard remix)
    Whitehouse - Her Entry
Laurel Halo - Speed of Rain
    Dome - Ur-Ur
    Uncle Bonsai - Fat Boys
    Djwwww & MC Play-Station - (* ˘ ³˘)♡*˚Ⴛ̅̀∣ժ̅ /// セーブデータ001. ICE_CAVE /// *.:。✿*゚¨゚✎・✿.。.:*

i can extract no meaning from this

We can do anything if we do it together.
