Who else is tired of the ubiquity of geometric sans serifs?

    But yeah, a lot of the Not Gothams popping up everywhere are too doctrinaire for me. They look good in isolation, but in practice, not so much.

    I prefer the Futura-style geometrics, or the ITC Anna style geometrics to the Not-Gothams.

    But really, I'm actually very boring and love Helvetica

    I can understand not wanting to see Gotham anymore because of how ubiquitous it is (and frankly, I can't deny that it gets a bit tired), but a lot of my particular favorites are in similar styles

    Humanist type can be hit-or-miss for me; generally I feel like it may work a little better in copy than as headline text, though there are exceptions (the grotesque-inspired Adelle comes to mind).
