    READ MY CROSS SHIPPING-FANFICTION, DAMMIT!

i get so angry sometimes i just punch plankton --Klinotaxis
I remember the first one being good.

The second one didn't strike me so well... and I think maybe there was a third one with the kid of the main pair?

I at least don't remember any of them with scorn and vile.

There was more than one Scorpion King movie?

The first movie was great.  Second was okay.  Third was kinda bad.  It's even worse in hindsight today when you realize the third movie is basically the same story as Uncharted 2 and you can't help but make comparisons where one side completely eclipses the other.

Weirdly, the cartoon series was better than most of the source material.
  • My dreams exceed my real life
The Rock is pretty charismatic, honestly. Scorpion King was fun.

So there WAS a Mummy cartoon! I'd had a vague memory of it existing...

i remember that cartoon, but i can't remember what it was like

i think i liked the 2nd movie best, but i don't know if i'd feel the same now

It was decent, pretty typical fare for the Kids WB heyday.  Also had a surprisingly large number of the usual A-list voice actors.

Also got cancelled after two seasons.

For extra fun, I just looked it up on Wikipedia, and the character list is like half a page of ramble about Alex and one line of everyone else.

He's a charismatic actor who gets fairly few decent roles. It's not that he's an awful actor, but he does kind of have a consistent B-movie-star status.
  • He's shown acting chops.  He just keeps picking these fucking terrible movies.
  • “I'm surprised. Those clothes… but, aren't you…?”
Precisely. It's actually pretty disappointing the more that I think about it, like the slow decline of all of the Carridines without the drugs.
  • The man's not allowed to have fun?

If I were the world's greatest actor I'd probably take exclusively hilariously cheesy b-movie roles.
  • We can do anything if we do it together.

This is pretty much Nicholas Cage's life, for the most part.
  • Yeah I mean, I'm not necessarily saying they're good movies, or even fun movies, but they might be fun to act in, and that might be enough.
  • We can do anything if we do it together.
Yeah, that was what I meant by the Nicholas Cage remark. :P
  • Touch the cow. Do it now.
I'd probably want to make one or two really good movies and then a lot of fun bad ones

    Hmm.

    Shatner.
  • For once, or maybe twice, I was in my prime.
Wasn't The Rock the voice of the Iron Giant? No wait, I'm thinking of Vin Diesel.

C'mon Mojo, all those empty seats and you had to sit there?

He really is a bad guy.
