after an unfortunate absence in the last gym we were at.
Now, allegedly Koga's gymwalls are invisible, but if you look closely you can actually see the dotted outlines of the walls
as seen here.
I disagree! Also fuck you
something I've never understood
why are there Jugglers in a ninja-themed poison gym?
in any case, they're leveled over us semi-significantly (his Medicine is Level 38) which is uh, concerning. But I don't know if there's much we can do about that now that we're already here.
I am perplexed by the amount of jugglers in this gym.
This guy actually kind of kicks our ass despite having lower-leveled pokemon than the last dude. Derpy and Legolass both get KOd and we have to make a short trip to the Pokecenter afterward before returning.
you and every other angsty teen with a DeviantArt account, kid.
Dude Into Some Kinky Shit would like to battle
we take him down with minimal difficulty. Dude had three Chen, because of course he did.
next guy we fight has a bunch of Wriggles. Isn't this supposed to be a Poison themed gym? I'm really confused here.
I don't get the tamers with the catgirls, I really don't.
anyway here's Koga or whatever his name is
he's very joyfulous.
this shit again, really?
thus marks the only time anyone has ever said that in history
your gym is full of circus escapees and catgirl fetishists
his first Touhou is Hina, which blows itself up in Zesty's face (but it's not very effective)
I'm just going to try to steamroll them with Ice Ball and hope I don't miss
three Touhou in, and our strategy is working alright so far.
see things like this are concerning
"not very effective" status notwithstanding, it knocks Zesty out, meaning we have some problems.
also, levels like "32" to levels like "47" is a fucking massive leap in leveling terms and I'm not sure what's up with that. I'm pretty sure Koga in the original LeafGreen wasn't nearly this hard.
one revive, hyper potion, and re-draw out of Zestpoole later, we resume our Ice Ball strategy, which this time works superbly
fuuuuuuuuck you, son.
We get our ISO standard badge and TM, and that's another gym down.
I'm gonna look over what gym badges we still need now, and gonna go give the warden his teeth we picked up in the Safari Zone, and such. Later dudes.
Ah, but it makes every sense for jugglers and circus tamers to stay at a ninja dojo. Or for ninjas to stay at a circus training facility.
Entertainers are welcome almost everywhere, allowing ninjas to get into high-security places, and juggling and circus taming teach the dexterity necessary to throw knives and use grappling hooks.
Better question: why are the jugglers using lollipops? Even if we take the child molester route, wouldn't fish be more attractive to Chens?
it's just that videos, now that I have the capability to make them, are somewhat easier to produce than the screencap + text ones.
it'll be direct continuation from this series though, not a restart. I'd probably stream them on Twitch and then keep the episodes up as VODs. I don't really want to put them on Youtube though since Tohomon is based off of a Nintendo property and I don't want them coming after me.
Remember back in the 50s when they'd record like Elvis singing YOU AIN'T NOTHIN BUT A HOUND DOG and then they'd turn the record over and reverse it and it was all NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP NYERP and people were all like, "That is actually the voice of Satan coming from that song."

In the original LeafGreen, Koga's levels ranged from 37 to 43, so there is indeed a massive leap.
From what I recall of videos of this game, the leaps get even more massive later on. Blaine's Pokémon are higher leveled than Giovanni's were in the original.

since I now have the capability to do so, I may turn this into a video LP now.

I don't want to be splitting editions into parts again. That way only leads to madness.
The video is here.
I'm not sure I'll be doing that again, I ran out of things to talk about really quickly.
